Thankful for…

DailyStampede27NovCollageDailyStampede27Nov1

This is one of those cards that started out differently in my head. I wanted to use Wonderful Wreath in a non-Christmas way, and I had Thankful still on deck waiting to be used.

I loved the way the image turned out but I think of this card as a step #2 card (from my old step it up videos) and I wanted it to be a step #3 card. I need to make another version of this card and step-it-up! Be on the lookout for that one. ┬áThis card like the last two card (see Monday and Tuesday’s posts), is full of texture. I love Core’dinations card stock. I love the way it looks and what it adds to other textural items (burlap ribbon).

LOVE THIS! This card is stunningly beautiful, Joanie! Did you colour your stamp with the various markers or did you pick up the ink with your blender pen or ? So happy to see your beautiful work, Joanie

    • Thank you, my sweet friend! I inked the stamp with always artichoke and removed some of the ink with an aquapainter. I then went back with a marker to add the cajun craze and crushed curry. I stamped the image and went back over it with a bit more cajun craze and crushed curry with a blender pen.

Tell me what you think...
