Stampin’ Up! Mash Up

This is a mash up of two cards I saw recently. The color and layout inspiration didn’t have a watermark on the picture I saved so I don’t know who created it, but it was similar to mine except it had foot prints and musical notes. The focal image was stamped once and cut out and popped up. The other card was by Michele Zindorf. The ground and the stamping of the main image was inspired by her card. I used First Edition with my card (the others did not) and repeated that “text” with the stamp from Stampin’ Up! Daring Adventure stamp set.

The card base is Crumb Cake CS, Early Espresso Mat, First Edition DSP cut to the same size as the Very Vanilla for the stamped portion. I used Baja Breeze and Marina Mist inks applied with a stamping sponge. The Bicycle is stamped in Early Espresso , huffed and stamped again using a stamp-a-ma-jig, huff & repeat until you have 4 images. The last one faded away after the blue inks were applied. I used Early Espresso ink for the ground. I distressed the whole thing added 3 jewelry tags with Linen thread.

I finished the inside very simply…

I need to spend Wednesday making some cards. My weekend creativity was pushed aside for chores & oscars.

Thanks for stopping by!
