Almost every morning I think this very thought about my cup of coffee…”You’re the BEST!” These two stamps seemed like the perfect blend to me… Just Sayin’
Oh, I am feeling punny this morning! And yes, I have already had my coffee this morning. Which explains a lot, I know, I know.
I didn’t use card stock for the detail edge, I used the DSP and just found the part that was mostly solid in color and then punched it out with my dotted scallop ribbon border punch.
I stamped the coffee cup and came back in with a blender pen to add a bit of depth. I didn’t add color just pulled from the ink already on the paper. Watercolor paper makes this so easy and difficult to mess up. I stamped the cup again on the DSP and cut out the sleeve portion with my paper snips and adhered to the stamped image. I lightly sponged the word bubble after it was cut out with the framelits with a crumb cake sponge. I didn’t ink it up. I just used the ink already on the sponge. (I have a set of sponges that I use over and over again. One for each color I use frequently.) I lightly sanded the card base and added a bit more detail with paper piercing. The main image and word bubble with popped up on dimensionals.
