This is a simple card that packs a lot of interest because of the detail in the inked and embossed piece.
I used Whisper White CS, Versamark, More Mustard, Not Quite Navy, and Always Artichoke inks.
(All of the above colors are being retired by Stampin’ Up! Be sure to order yours soon if you love them because they are all available while supplies last. If you want to use only soon-to-be current Stampin’ Up colors, try Crushed Curry, Midnight Muse, and Old Olive.)
You could get this look one of two ways. You could take your Whisper White CS and stamp the leaf in versamark and then use clear embossing powder and heat set. Then you could apply all over ink to the background and wipe the excess away from the already embossed images.
You could apply the all over ink with stampin sponges and then stamp the leaf image and apply white embossing powder and heat set.
I used the first method and love to wipe the excess ink away. It always gives me an “ahhhh and oohhh” moment.
This really is an easy and simple way to use up scraps of whisper white card stock.
Monday I will post another version of this card that uses even smaller scraps.
Hope your Saturday is spectacular!
