I have cards to share! I know I promised cards with new product, but I remembered I have a friend who has a 40 birthday tomorrow. I made two cards for her. One I will give to another friend to give our birthday friend, and one I will give. So, today and tomorrow it is Bombs Away Birthday.
I loved this set the moment I saw it:
I just haven’t had an occasion that was right for it. Until the 40th birthday thing came up. I was annoyed to learn she was still in her 30′s because my friend Karen is so dog gone wise I figured she was at least my age but looked FANTASTIC for her age. I am so happy to welcome her to the next decade.
With that in mind, I kept with the theme (such an Epic Day turning 40) and used Epic Day This & That DSP. hee hee. I added some Washi Tape and a fun little card was born. I stamped the bomb twice. Cut it out and sandwiched dimensionals in between. The bottom image I kept the fuse from the stamp but on the top I cut it off and added some Baker’s Twine to look like a real fuse.
