Here is the third of five cards I submitted for Stampin’ Up! Artisan DT contest
Perhaps this card is too simple to submit for Artisan, but I love it. I love simple, sophisticated looks and I think this one fits that bill. I also ADORE core’dinations card stock. You may not even notice it unless I said something but the pool party embossed layer has been lightly sanded to revel the white core.
I was afraid that using pool party embossing powder on vellum would produce results to light to give it the effect I was after, but it turns out by stamping the tree image underneath the vellum in basic gray, it gave it the perfect background for the lighter embossing powder
I love that Stampin’ Up! has card stock, core’dinations card stock, ink, embossing powder, seam binding ribbon all in pool party – without that perfect match, this card would look odd.
The inside is finished off very simply.
I love this card.
