2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop – Day 2

Good morning and welcome to our Artisan Entry blog hop!

Here is a complete listing of our participants:

1.    Brenda Quintana
2.    Joan Robertson
3.    Lauri Ingram
4.    Laura Mellinger
5.    Kandi Phillips
6.    Lisa Hensley
8.    Pamela Staples
9.    Tina Munzke

Today, I give you my other 3-D project I submitted for Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team contest

She is my mixed-media project. The canvas and gesso are the only non-SU items used

I loves making this skirt. I used strips and a corner rounder for the bottom edges. I hand cut the top portions so they would taper in and be easier to work with layering

I added 2-way glue and dazzling diamonds to show the path of the butterflies- which are made from Beautiful Wings Embosslits

I used First Edition DSP and Epic Day DSP

I used re-inkers in Pool Party, Tangerine Tango, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight

This took a long time to make, and honestly I would have liked to re-do it but time

did not allow it, so I called it good and sent it in.

This project was FUN.

I will make another for myself and think everyone should play more.

This project encourages play!

Now, it is time to hop on over to Lauri’s blog HERE

If you just found our hop and want to start at the beginning, check out Brenda’s blog HERE
